| Shades In the shades of our lives, the simple hues and subtle gradients, we find that we are not so different. We search for the same endings. Some do take the road less traveled, and others follow the tried and true path. It isn't so much how we came to the end, but what we did along the way. How we loved. How we lost. What we did with our failures. What we did with our successes. Were we true to ourselves? Were we true to those around us? Did we settle for the sake of not being alone? Or did we stand tall against the commonality ... Finding peace within ourselves? No one can possibly know what tomorrow may bring. The only thing that we can know ... do know ... is who we are today.
