| You're Good ... But | |||||||||
| I can match you word for word the banter and the tease you're good ... but, I'm better I can etch-a-sketch my world shake it up and make it change but you will always remain the same words carved deep in ash and oak emotion ... imagination evokes untouched ... untouchable you're good ... but, I'm better life handed me a choice dealt the cards and screamed, "Play." so ... I play it's that simple life or death? it's all the same I looked death in the face and all I saw ... was Me. So, put away your childish words you're pleasure and you're pain You're good ... but, I'm better. GlassPoet © 1999 |
