or is it Destiny?
I'm not even sure I know what "it" is ... but you call it Fate or is it Destiny?
What is Fate and how do I know if it is my Destiny?
How will I know the difference if it should come calling?
And if "it" is my Destiny, what Fate will it hold?
It's all too much for me sometimes, creating confusion in a world of no answers.
I asked my old friend Webster what Fate was and he kindly tried to explain that Fate was Destiny, which only served to make me run for the hills and the safety of the padded walls of my room.
I hesitated for a few moments before I asked what Destiny was (I was worried that he might think me impudent) and he seemed to ponder that question a while before he gave me these gems: Destiny is a predetermined course of events often held to be an irresistible power or agency.
I thought EUREKA, we are getting somewhere! Then he mumbled something about Manifest Destiny and I just groaned.
Fate/Destiny seems to be something along the lines of Faith. You know it exists, you know you posses it, but you have no idea what it is or why you have it.
Do I believe in Fate/Destiny?
I don't know.
But I believe You and that is enough for me.
